Buffalo Check Traditional

Buffalo Check Traditional

20.00 25.00

This double thick cotton flannel traditional scarf sports a 165-year-old pattern, the buffalo check. The name was derived from a scheme concocted by a renegade herd of buffalo in which fraudulent checks were cashed at coin-operated laundromats where the buffaloes would wash their thick hides for just a nickel. The scam was discovered when one of the checks got wet, yielding this distinct pattern. It's also why the buffalo was once featured on the reverse side of nickels.

True story.

If you want to display your rugged buffalo gangsta side, this is the scarf for you.
