Our Adoption Adventure So Far

Before Alison and I were married, we somehow failed to have a conversation about children. She wanted a minimum of four children. I wanted zero. Today, we have the four children my wife dreamed about. Alison didn't win; God changed me.

In 2015, I was sick. And then Alison nearly died. We were at the end of ourselves. Upon reflection, we discovered we felt we had been cheating the gospel by being resigned to lives of dull mediocrity. Could we trust God and really live the gospel? Could God use us? These ideas dominated our conversations, and we determined to say yes to wherever He led us.

The Lord laid adoption on our hearts. After receiving Biblical counsel and prayer, we both sensed God guiding us to adopt a sibling group specifically from Poland.

We worked to put our small house on the market. After it didn't sell, we took it off the market. Then it sold. We found a bigger, older house across town that we could just afford and bought it.

We started the adoption process formally last November, and completed our home study last month. Two weeks ago we accepted a referral for three brothers ages 3, 6, and 9!

We're so excited to add these three sons to our family, and we hope that you'll consider helping us make this a reality.

How You Can Join Our Adventure:

Our current goal is $10,363 to cover this next round of fees. If you're someone the Lord wants to use for this, you can help simply by giving. Every donation, no matter how large or small, is important and will help make adopting these three boys a reality.

Thank you so much for being a part of our adoption adventure!
